One of My Favorite Quotes
This quote resonate with me for various reasons that its too many to explain. Thoughout my professional journey I will reference to this quote several times which will explain why it means so much to me.
This quote does explain itself, I love Black History month. It is my opportunity to teach all children about history. During black history month I put different facts on my bulletin board for everyone to see and learn. Many schools around where I live, do not even participate in black history month. I had a schoolage child tell me last black history month that the Buffalo Soldiers were a motorcycle club...Its just sad about our school systems these days.
